Inverse Roberts filter and histogram equalization are applied to an input photographic image for transforming it to a crepe-paper-like image. To generate crepe-paper-like pattern in region where crepe-paper-like pattern is less likely to be generated, we propose a method for converting the pixel values of the photographic image before transforming it to a crepe-paper-like image. To validate the effectiveness of the proposed method, we conduct experiments on the image of Lena and evaluate the outputs of our method visually.
